At Blue Rock Group we regularly surface and resurface footpaths throughout the UK for both domestic and commercial sectors. We have machinery explicitly designed for the surfacing of pavements such as mini pavers and 100 size rollers.
In London, we are continuing to resurface the footpaths in and around Outer Circle Regents Park for the Crown Estate Paving Commission. This project involves a 7km area consisting of planning off of the existing tarmac, resetting the retaining concrete kerbs to the rear and relaying 30mm of Ulti colour natural 6mm Colchester Gravel. This is a material designed to offer a natural stone gravel effect image.
As well as Asphalt we can lay both Resins or paving slabs to your footpath including York Stone paving projects, which we also carry out regularly in and around North London and Westminster.
Sometimes we are asked to remove the existing York Stone and Relay because over time the slabs have worked loose and subsided. There is also the Resin Bound Gravel option, popular around parks and recreational areas. We have recently re-surfaced the entire footpath network around the open air Theatre Regents Park with fantastic results.
This project included removing the existing footpaths, building up a new sub-base laying kerb edgings and 70mm of 14mm open-graded surface course before the Resin bound Application.
We use only the very best BBA approved materials applied by the highest skilled tradesmen ensuring the best possible results.
